Building the foundations of long-term relationships to help develop the best next step for you.

Jess is the Partner leading the construction and property practice at u&u. She specialises across the construction, property development, client-side project management and facilities sectors across a national portfolio. For the past 15 years, Jess has managed the technical recruitment of various construction and property roles with large top-tier organisations to smaller boutique companies and everything in between, throughout Australia, with a strong focus in Queensland.

Over the years, Jess has always focused on business partnerships, candidate relationships and industry knowledge.  She has emersed herself within industry organisations such as Property Council Australia, Urban Development Institute of Australia and National Women in Construction to not only connect better with candidates, but to be more involved in her client’s businesses and have a greater understanding of the ever-changing landscape of the construction and property industry.

She understands what it takes to develop long-standing relationships, appreciates what her clients are looking for and takes the time to understand what her candidates need.

If I had a superpower, it would be? : I think it’s a toss up between being invisible and being able to fly.

What I love most about my city is…? Brisbane has the BEST weather in the world.  There are not too many places that have amazing weather all year round

If you had to choose your last meal on earth, what would it be?  It would be a 3-course meal: entrée would be southern fried wings, the main would be a cheeseburger and dessert would be a lemon meringue pie

If you could attend any high profile event, what would you choose?: I have always wanted to attend the Vanity Fair Oscars after party.
